About Artist Cassidy Bowden

Owner of Head in the Clouds Design Studio, Cassidy Bowden, believes that art should be an extension of life. 

She believes that art should capture and reflect the essence of the subject.  Perhaps this is the secret ingredient she brings to all her work – to the life in the eyes of her subjects, to the fluidity of movement, and the expressions and emotions captured on paper forever.

This is why Cassidy’s clients have come to trust her with their special pet portraits – her attention to detail combined with a deep love of animals and nature is inherent in all her work.

When she isn’t painting or drawing, Cassidy loves to spend time with (in no particular order), horses, and her family which includes the amazing (and infinitely superior to humans), Mr. Bunny, the quirky labrador-cross, Sandy (who is now a grand old lady), and her adorable new nephew, Malachi – who is MUCH cuter than babies have any right to be!
